Biography
Sjoerd (Sjoko) Koppert is a Dutch born recording engineer / producer and the founder / president of Tantrum Records & Studios based in Montecito, California.
Sjoko started as a f.of h. engineer in the Netherlands, working with multiple Dutch bands such as Focus, Golden Earring, Shocking Blue. From the early '70's Sjoko toured extensively with artists like The Who, Pink Floyd, Zappa and too many others to mention.
In 2000 Sjoko established a recording studio, Tantrum Studios, in Montecito, California. In 2005 an Indy record company, Tantrum Records, was added.
Today Sjoko produces and manages a number of up-and-coming artists from Tantrum's base.
