My name is Christian Denis and i'm from Canada. I make electronic music for a couple of years, building it with samples taken from old tracks in any kind of styles and added my own melodies and beats over them. Sampling is an art i compare it to a painting, with full of colours and textures. I work under the aliases MR. MOODS, i explore smooth and dark territories in music, using old animation movies and sci-fi movies samples, beats and scratches to create a blend of trip hop and hip hop and ambient music, , also a side project called, VIOLENT MOODS, with my friend VPD, in this one we try to explore the lofi territories, also LOFI SCIENTISTS a collaboration with LE REVEUR from france and finally a project with the finiest trumpetist, skip warren, LR-60 & MR MOODS is another exploration in music, combines hip hop, jazz, downtempo and trip hop to create a brand new style of music. For me the music is a powerful medium to let go your emotions. The moods are the building materials for my works. if you carefully listen to my music you will know me

Our latest album called ULTRAVIOLENCE is finally available via itunes and cdbaby, one year of work, with my co writer skip warren, an album exploring ambient, funk, trip hop and jazz, if you like acid jazz this album is for you. Our first one COLDEST MEMORIES is in nomination at the grammy's, song SILENTLY and MIRAGE, in 7 categories, we hope that we pass the final step, the judging, (in november), so listen and tell me what you think, cheers, christian (MR.
