Biography
I started writing poetry in high school and then started playing guitar. For years I composed my 4 track songs in my basement for myself. In 2004 I moved to New York and volunteered to create the music for a New York Film Academy student whose name I have forgotten.
The film was called "Sad Eyes". That was a fun experience for me.
In 2005 I founded my first rock band, Kung-Fuse. The band was together for a year and a half and we played a dozen shows at venues like the Knitting Factory, CBGB's, and Piano's. Kung-Fuse never released an album, but we did record two 4 song demos and that was my first experience in the studio- the bug bit me.
That band dismantled when the drummer returned to his home country of France.
Then I started working on a project in Stamford, CT with a group that had all previously been in a band named Sicboy. That project became the garage rock band The Stick. I was the front man in that band and I recorded all of our practices with a Zoom H4. We were together for a little over a year when I decided to part ways with them due to commitment issues. After The Stick I started working with multiple Grammy winning mix engineer/producer Bob Brockmann. For a year and a half I studied the art of production under Bob. Eventually we formed a project with his assistant John Blackbird called Sexual Freedom Riders. In a little under a year Bob, John, and I produced over 30 songs under the Sexual Freedom Riders name. Four of the songs featured another friend and producer, Roi Star.
I yet again moved on due to personal issues and have been relaxing ever since- taking projects as they come and writing songs that please me (much like the days in the basement). Recently I have been working on the score/narration on Jain Enlightenment.
