- Biography
- Dren has been writing music since age 5, started playing in clubs with bands at age 15 and was playing in orchestra pits at the age of 18. He's toured both the United States and Europe with his bands, attended both SXSW and NXNW as a panelist and performer, and founded several online music businesses.
Currently he is creating unique audio experiences in interactive and traditional media (games, iphone apps, ads, animation, web, soundtracks, etc). With the ability to compose and blend in many different musical styles (and invented genres), his efficient work ethic is a good fit for any outsourced audio needs.
His studio is capable of digital orchestrations, electronic-orchestral hybrids, metal/country/jazz (in a room filled with 20 types of guitars, banjos, mandolins and varied stringed instruments), a wide array of custom sound effects and voice over abilities.
He has written songs in a variety of styles, ranging from cabaret-esque, children's songs, indie rock, pop, satire, dance, and more.
Dren was also recently selected by the Game Audio Network Guild as their Community Manager.
