Biography
At 9 years of age, Talina Adamo began singing and performing in her school choir located out of Deerfield Beach, Florida where she was raised. With her new found love for poetry writing she later developed her skills into songwriting. By the time she was 11 she was active in drama classes taking on several acting roles for school plays. At the Dance Academy of Deerfield Beach she attended Jazz, Tap, and Ballet classes quickly advancing to an adult class at the age of 12. At the age of 15 she was accepted for a main acting role in her school’s Christian Musical, where she also had a solo singing performance. After signing a management agreement with Untouchable Entertainment, LLC things fell through within the first year when her manager became ill. In and out of recording studios she was unable to find the right company to represent her and push her singing career to the next level. At the age of 17 her song, “Stop the Insanity” written by Jimmy Hayes, was aired on the radio. This song was dedicated to her Uncle Paul Beyer who was killed in the north tower on Sept. 11th. She also recorded her first pop song, “My Only”. She was still holding onto her dreams, hoping for someone to sign her to a record label. She auditioned for American Idol II and Star Search, but never made it past the first cut. She began to realize that whether she was a signed artist or not, she loved music and she loved to sing and perform whenever possible. She was born to entertain. In 2006 at age 25 she graduated from the Palm Beach Film School with an A+ average. Her first student film, “What The Eyes Can’t See” is not her best film, but she learned a lot from it. From scriptwriting to editing she learned everything she needed to know to start her own company, Black Onyx Productions, LLC. She then wrote, directed, & edited a 47 minute documentary called “The Love of Music”. It was produced to encourage struggling artists to never give up on their dreams. Her website www.The-Love-Of-Music.com helps to promote the film as well as the artists who participated. The first DVD will be released in June of 2009 along with her first EP, “Unbroken”. She anticipates working on her new TV Series also called “The Love of Music” and plans to release it the beginning of next year on DVD. It will also be on rotation and on demand at www.BlackOnyxTV.com. Black Onyx TV helps her to support and promote the arts in South Florida from actors, models, filmmakers, musicians, and more! Within the past 3 years she has produced, directed, acted, and played many roles on several independent films including music videos, documentaries, shorts & features. Her first completed music video was “Hear My Voice” by the artist Luly. She plans on releasing her own music video this year as well. Her company, Black Onyx Productions, LLC, offers video services from events, commercials, feature films and more, but she does not work alone. With a strong belief in team work she has many partners in the film industry that work along side with her on her projects. “I work with a great team of talented artists and together we are going to go far!”- Talina says. She is a strong supporter of bringing the Hollywood lifestyle right here to South Florida. Her most recent work supporting Florida Film is the WPB Student Showcase of Films along with the Palm Beach International Film Festival of 2009. It is currently on rotation and on demand at Black Onyx TV. Her ultimate goal is to make a difference in the world one song, film, and charity project at a time.

Great videos! I used to make a living doing video productions, so I know how much time and effort goes into them. I especially appreciated the video on music and musicians, it was tons of work to get the interview process going I'm sure.

If you have time, we'd love for you to join us in the chat room( on the site) at 7:00pm today. We're chatting about developing the IMP promo video and I think your input would be very valuable considering you just made a movie about independent musicians.
