What is the main program you use in Audio Post? I usually use Pro-Tools it does what I need to do, and quickly. I would like to hear from some people who use different software. What do you use for Compositions? Scoring? other then just editing?

I use cubase and have used it for the last eight years.. My version is Cubase 4. I find it intuitive, easy to use, has great features and works well with vst's and plug ins....

The scoring feature is great.

On the negative side, the manual is junk. I find most answers on message boards or after hours of struggling through something.

I Use reason 4 for my production work, along with Acid Pro on occassions. Whilst Reason 4 has many limitations I find it easy to use, and I have become accustomed too its tools and tricks :)
If any one needs help with reason at any time please let me know :)

I use audio 99% percent of the time with hardware instruments. I had use Acid Pro from its inception. Along with that I have used digital recorders.

I use Cubase 5 for all my production. It has everything I need to get the job done except for mastering. I plan on getting Wavelab for that.

ProTools HD for all recording and mixing, stereo and surround

Pro Tools. I have DP and know Logic but the compatibility with other audio post facilities requires PT, which is my fave anyway.

I use Logic for all my writing and Logic & ProTools HD for mixing - as Bob said, it's just the industry standard for compatibility with other post facilities

FL Studio for beat making, it rocks! All tracking in Sonar (I prefer the automation workflow to Cubase)and SoundForge for mastering.

Post-Production: ProTools. Is the standard.
Music and Post-Production second choice: Nuendo.
Creative purposes: Reason always rewired.
Actually interested in the development of Ardour.

I use Pro-Tools and Wave lab. I find the combination of these two compliment each other.
